Lissanalta House in Dooradoyle was designed and constructed to house the Library Headquarters, the Mid-west Roads design office, Limerick County Council Testing Laboratory.
Sustainable design was key for this project. Our M&E team liaised with the client in the preparation of the M&E design and assessed and evaluated various sustainable energy systems. A solar panel array was installed to cater for a substantial percentage of the yearly hot water demand for the building.
The main board for the electrical installation was designed to cater for the future connection of a solar photovoltaic array and for the exporting of any additional electricity generated.
