Arup Scope: Civil, Structural, Façade, Mechanical, Electrical. Lifts and Fire Protection Services
Arup provided Civil and Structural as well as full Mechanical, Electrical, Lifts and Fire Protection services for this 7 storey ‘state of the art' office block. The landmark building is occupied by EBS.
The structure consists of insitu concrete flat slab floor plates on a 7.5m sq. grid.
Main feature of the building is the glazed ‘thermal flue' façade - the first of its kind in Ireland.
Arup ensured that an integrated approach was achieved in the design of the new building. The design realises the aims and design targets set out in the brief to produce a building efficient in construction and full life cycle analysis.
Arup provided a complete building services input consisting of design tender, on-site monitoring and supervision, and hand-over demonstrations of the mechanical & electrical services.
