Arup were appointed as the consultants for the Wexford Opera House, home to the world famous Wexford Opera Festival.
Facilities in the 7,000m² theatre include a 750 seat state-of-the-art auditorium specifically designed for opera and a 150 seat smaller space used for music, drama, rehearsals and cinema. In addition, there is a substantial front of house and backstage facilities.
The Wexford Opera house was awarded a Civic Trust Award in 2010.
