Low Carbon Opportunities - Recent Arup Event
Arup were delighted to host a discussion on Low Carbon Opportunities at the Eircom HQ Building on 3rd March 2010.
Key speakers from both the UK and Ireland provided an insight into the most recent legislative requirements associated with the carbon economy; emerging technologies and best practice examples adopted by London Sustainable Development Commission; carbon measurement, labelling and reduction techniques, as well as information on conducting business in Ireland in a low carbon economy.
We would like to thank our guest speakers, Tom Flynn, Malcolm Ball, Keith Evans and Declan White for their involvement and assistance in making this such an informative discussion and open debate.
A tour of the Eircom building, winner of the SEI Award for Sustainable Building Excellence 2009, was provided after the discussion.
