Arup hosts NAWIC Event
NAWIC - National Association of Women in Construction
Arup were delighted to host the second networking event of the Irish Chapter of the NAWIC in our offices on May 27th. The event was very well attended by a broad range of professionals working within the construction industry. Jerry Mehigan, Managing Director of Arup welcomed the guest speakers for the evening, the Railway Procurement Agency, who gave a very interesting presentation on Metro North.
Susan Bryson, NAWIC Chairperson, encouraged attendees to become members of NAWIC, to further build on the success of the Association. Future events include some landmark site visits (M3, National Conference Centre and the Samuel Beckett Bridge).
